Standing out with campus stories

What was needed:

Restrictive brand guidelines can make it tricky for university faculties to attract the attention of school leavers. The University of New South Wales’ Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences needed an identity that was on brand, yet positioned as a cutting-edge, student-focused school. 

What we did:

The initial prospectus was part of a larger identity strategy. Interpreting the faculty’s ‘license to explore’ theme, we set up a photography shoot of students and staff captured in authentic campus moments. Shot against a concrete wall, the subjects gave a range of surprising expressions. The photos had a raw, real feel that complemented the bright and bold prospectus design.

Visual Identity

A colourful collection for eHealth records

What was needed:

The Department of Health and Ageing turned to Synsation to develop a visual identity for its new National eHealth Records System. Besides various online applications we designed a suite of printed materials including informative brochures and newspaper lift-outs.  

What we did:

The materials featured a bright, contemporary design and engaging imagery. Working closely with delivery partners, we crafted a colourful collection of wide-ranging applications that were then recognised at the International Corporate Media Awards.

Brand Identity

The eyes have it for online optical rebrand

What was needed:

Poised to turn the optical market on its head, Sneaking Duck needed a strong brand identity and logo design that would work online, in print and on its packaging and product. 

What we did:

We took on the challenge to create a quirky yet contemporary logo that could be printed on even the thinnest pair of specs. The design combines a memorable duck graphic element with strong typography to match Sneaking Duck’s playful brand character.
